notting hill

One of Brandon and I's favorite movies is Notting Hill. If you haven't seen it, do. Notting Hill is bit of London containing Portobello Road with its many shops and street vendors. We went there last year for our anniversary before we left England. I never had time to do a blog post on it as we moved shortly afterwards, so I'm doing one now!

We meandered through the many shops and in and out of the brightly-painted buildings and I capped off my English China collection by finally finding a silver TEA POT! A lot of other people had the same idea, yowza was it crowded!

It was a wonderful London day trip and a lovely end to our year in the UK!

We found the shop whose typography was mimicked for the movie cover art! But we did not find the house with the blue door. :(
