bathroom makeover

One of this summer's room makeover projects was the downstairs bathroom at B's Mom's house. Brittany and I took it from high-school brights to neat and nautical. We had so much fun in the process!

We collected drift wood and made the towel rack ourselves, bought decor from etsy and painted the walls and woodwork. We decided that the item that carries the most weight in transforming the space (perhaps after the repainting) is the shower curtain. It covers up the somewhat unsightly shower doors and brings in some nautical stripes.
