the state of the union

We had our 5 year anniversary on August 5th in the midst of the big move! Oh hey, that makes it our GOLDEN anniversary too! Since we've spent so much time with others in the past two months we took a little getaway to St. Peter, Minnesota and celebrated five wonderful years of wedded bliss.

Brandon told me the only place he could find was an AmericInn and even faked a confirmation email from them to prove it. Instead, he surprised me with a stay at the beautifully restored Konsbruck Hotel!








We went to a deliciously Italian meal at the Neighbors restaurant, and went to see a nice rom com. :)

After five years the state of our union is stronger than ever, and we're excited to begin another chapter together in a new state (a state that is reluctantly part of the union haha). Sorry, I couldn't stop myself from making that lame joke.
